Recently we started our DIY projects of constructing feature walls for our residential high end’s clients.

If you like the organic nature of wooden pallets or you like how personalized and creative you can get with the simple material, you just might love this idea as much as we do!

 

Depending on what effect you would like to achieve feature wall panels are designed to add interest and warmth with a modern contemporary feel to your home or office.

You can choose from natural wood decorative wall panels made from rustic oak, real walnut, log piles, pallets, reclaimed wood or wooden effect tiles to add texture and give an innovative approach to your walls and living space.

 

Wood cladding walls are also excellent for use as an accent wall and combined with ideal lighting can create some beautiful unique effects.

Living room and bedrooms are great places to have a timber look styled wall features.

Elegantly designed can showcase a contemporary artistic feel and act as a wonderful piece of aesthetically pleasing art.

Black Toxic  Mould and Dampness It is important to identify the cause of moisture whether it is a water ingress or damp in order to tackle it appropriately.  Some common signs of damp are damp patches on walls, ceilings and external walls. As well as drips and puddles, wet and crumbly plaster and black mold that are isolated to one area. We have prepared some Before and After photos so you can see what warning signs to look for. The most important to check for are corroded water pipes concealed in walls, plumbing issues, and damaged seals around baths and showers. What are your landlord responsibility for gas safety? The gas safety regulations 1998 outlines the duties as a landlord to make sure that all gas appliances, flues, fittings and chimneys and working successfully. If you're letting a property with gas appliances installed, there are three main legal responsibility: 1) Gas Safety Checks To ensure tenants safety all the gas appliance and flues need to undergo an annual gas safety check and this needs to be done by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer. Once this is done you will be provided a Landlord Gas Safety Record or even Gas Safety Certificate with details of all the checks that were carried out. Gas safety checks can be carried out any time from 10-12 months after the last check.
